I have rarely met a tiny outbuilding with a gabled roof that I didn't love, regardless of it's state of repair. This small outpost sits along Forbidden Drive in Fairmount Park, Philadelphia. The single room structure with wood-burning stove and open porch makes
Proenneke's famous cabin in the woods look large in comparison. This structure, however, was built by the WPA in 1938 as a park service outpost station.
