The "bouquet garni" is typically a bundle of herbs tied and added to homemade stock during cooking. In this case, the bouquet is bound in parchment and made the perfect hostess gift for a dinner party celebrating Diane and Dana's new grill. The herbs -- which consisted of thyme, tarragon, basil, majoram and mint fresh varieties from our own garden -- may be used for grilling meats or enjoyed as a fragrant floral arrangement in the home.
